Say Hello to Kibbles!

Kibbles

Meet Kibbles! He’s sitting proudly with my shoe. (note: I had to red-eye adjust his eyes in this picture) That poor dog gets dragged all over by my crocs! Now, for a size comparison, they are size 11 womans or approximately a size 8 mans shoe. He’s actually grown quite a bit since we got him last Thursday. I could put 4 fingers under his collar but this morning I had to let it out another inch!

Here we have a good glimpse of Kibbles being walked by my shoe. Nasty thing, that shoe! What’s funnier is that often his back legs are hardly in contact with the ground. Kibbles weights just over 4 lbs!

He used to have a more full coat, but since we have no air conditioner and it was so hot, I shaved most of his hair off. That’s why you can see his docked tail really well. I was a little upset about that but it was one of those instances where it was already done and there was little I could do about it now. Anyhow, people think I really massacred his fur, and I did… but he is more lively now.

And last but not least, here is a picture of me playing with Kibbles!

  7. Kibbles is adorable! Reminds me of our little Min. Schnauzer K.C…she is 5 years old now and only 10 lbs.

I would love to have a “Kibbles!” My husband told me this week I could have a puppy. However, he would have to stay in the kitchen and utility room and could go out on the back porch. That really is not fair to a puppy. Since I can’t get down on the floor to play with a puppy, I would be very limited and so would the puppy.

But….I was so glad he said I could get one even if there were conditions. Ginger gave me your blog address.
