Blondie Brownies

This is a family favourite, again no specific author but I know of many people who make similar recipes.

Oven Temperature: 325 F

Bake time: 25 minutes

Pan: Jelly roll pan works great, something you can spread the batter out nice and thin.  11 x 7 or slightly larger pan also works great.

Cream:

1/2 cup soft margarine or butter (doesn’t have to be hard/brick margarine but the moisture content of the margarine can’t be more than 30 %)

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 eggs

Once well mixed add:

1 tsp vanilla

Measure into mixer bowl:

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

Once the above is mixed you will have something thicker than batter but not quite cookie dough consistency.   Scrape into the pan and spread out really evenly.  Sprinkle liberally with chocolate chips and then bake!

This does work to make those cookie pizzas, however you do need an edge because the dough/batter spreads easier than most while baking.
